I enjoyed this book. I do think some of the plotting was a bit weird, this review is over the top though.. mostly what got me was the romance part between Gabrielle and the scientist, that didn't make any sense at all and like you say the difficult language!

Your review is good, harsh but good I did read this and faltered mid way. Disappointed because i really wanted to enjoy it, i felt that the author had no idea how to explain the girl's predictive powers but the ending left me asking well was she mad? did she have special powers? were they religious ones? Did the world end? I didn't understand the story, so i think i'd have given less rating 3./10.

I recently downloaded the first book in this series (red one). Even past my fifties I still have a desire to write but as time went on always felt it was too late. This book helped me to realise that I should have started YEARS ago but that its still NOT too late!

I have to say I loved the easy laid-back conversational and personal approach, it was easy to follow as I struggle with huge books full of instructtions. I also thought the writing short story exercices in this handy booklet were excellent. I am well into working on one of the prompts given. Thank you I look forward to getting th rest of them .

This book was very good, it played out like a real drama and the tension the whole way was explosive. Some bits like the cannibalism were a bit sickening but apart from that I enjoyed it. Very good review AcidReader

Hi T Martin,

I've read the third one and don't remember any particular flaws but then again I wasn't reading it for the depth of reviewing.

Did you enjoy the series?

I am working on my third writing project and am now considering the theme for my fourth. I have been intrigued over time by the case of the German cannibal and have often thought of writing a novel about it, but it is all still very much up in the air.

I also write psychological thrillers, but from the criminal's POV. As hard, demanding and draining as writing can be, I love it so much that I never see it as a burden or a drag and I am one of those lucky people who gets up in the morning looking forward to a writing day ahead.

Love what you do and you'll never have to work a day in your life.

This is a brilliant review I couldn't have written one better myself, though I did find a flaw in Collins third hunger games, but perhaps I ought to wait until you've read it before pointing it out :)
